Decision tables using PROLOGA - Shipping from Germany to Norway

1. Introduction

The decision table is a very familiar decision structure. For example price lists, bus, and train schedules are often represented as a table and function very similarly to a decision table. Given the current location and where we want to go, the table will tell us when the train will arrive. At a most basic level, two different parameters are represented along the axis of the table in columns and rows. The intersections of the two axes constitute the decision point for the given combination of parameter values.

3. Comparison of selected services

Comparing DHL and DPD beside the price lists, time of delivery and additional services that DHL has, DPD is unable to deliver the parcels to a P.O. Box address (but DHL is able to do this). Another difference is that DHL works on weekends (Saturday) while DPD's working schedule is from Monday to Friday.
